8001 Kwik-Kast/Black

BC8002 Kwik-Kast II/Gray

BCC Kwik Kast II is an advanced fast cast polyurethane tooling system which exhibits exceptionally low viscosity, low odor and is color contrasted for uniform mix. It features low exotherm and minimal shrinkage. Kwik Kast II cures hard, yet more durable resulting in less brittle parts. Designed for constructing patterns, prototypes, duplications, negatives, low temperature vacuum form tools, tracing models, etc..

BC8010 Metal Kast

A truly metal-like, fast setting urethane reproduction plastic that exhibits great machinability with working time of 4-6 min. (demoldable after 8-12 hours). Ideal for low temperature vacuum form tools, prototypes, models, display parts, patterns, keller aids and bulk back fill.

BC8642 Kwik-Kast/Blue

BC8648 Kwik-Kast/Brown

BC8648 Kwik Kast/Brown is a low viscosity fast setting urethane reproduction tooling system. BC8648 offers a working time of 7 - 8 minutes yet sets to demoldable hardness in as little as 45 minutes. It is designed for constructing patterns, prototypes, duplications, negatives, low temperature vacuum form tools, tracing models, etc..

BC8007 Lik-Wood

A low viscosity, quick setting, easy to use casting material. A model or tool cast from Lik-Wood will weigh 60% less than other filled urethane systems. BC8007 exhibits a working time of 4-5 min., and within 30 min.. it is ready to be carved, sanded, filed, tapped. etc.. Its amazing wood-like characteristics make it ideal for light-weight backing of laminates and/or surface coats. Perfect for fast take offs, cores, engineering changes, temporary molds, patterns, models, prototypes, and bases for die models.

BC8007-2 Lik-Wood/Slo

Lik-Wood/Slo features the same outstanding characteristics as BC8007, but affords the user a working time of 8-10 minutes, and is ready to be carved, sanded, etc. within 1 to 3 hours.

BC8009 Slo Kast

A low viscosity, medium setting, easy to use casting material. This polyurethane system features extremely low shrinkage when properly cured. BC 8009 affords the user a working time of 15 minutes for filling closed mold cavities and up to 25 minutes when casting into open molds. Slo-Kast is ideal for casting large sections without having to stage pour. Uses include; tracing models, core boxes, keller aids, patterns, core sticks, vacuum form tools, prototypes and display parts.

DP-11-41-2 Metal-Kast/SLO

An aluminum filled, metal-like, medium setting urethane reproduction plastic. A slower version of the BC8010 Metal-Kast which allows the user longer working time for pouring larger castings or for filling closed mold cavities. DP-11-41-2 is ideal for the construction of low temperature vacuum form tools, prototypes, models, display parts, patterns, keller aids and bulk back fill.

BC8007 Lik-Wood

A low viscosity, quick setting, easy to use casting material. A model or tool cast from Lik-Wood will weigh 60% less than other filled urethane systems. BC 8086 Urethane Casting System

A rapid setting, low viscosity, polyurethane casting system. It exhibits a working life of 45 seconds and obtains a demoldable hardness at 7 - 10 minutes. Some of the outstanding features include non-sensitivity to moisture after cure, paintable (non oil base), will readily bond to itself, moderate heat resistance, Excellent machinability and surface scrubbing, No settling components, no premixing required.

BC 8163 Proto-Kast (white)

A very low viscosity, rigid urethane compound which features a 2-21/2 min. working time. This system will cure quickly to a hard, tough, impact resistant casting. BC 8163 is non-sensitive to moisture after cure and will readily bond to itself if stage pours are required. The one-to-one volume mix ratio makes the system readily adaptable for machine mixing and dispensing. Recommended in applications where a "thermoplastic feel" is desired.

BC 8165 Urethane Casting System

A low viscosity, rapid setting, rigid urethane compound. Similar to BC 8163, however exhibits an 8 to 10 minute working time. This system will cure quickly to a hard, tough, impact resistant casting. BC 8165 is non-sensitive to moisture after cure and will readily bond to itself if stage pours are required. Recommended uses include thin wall model and prototype applications where a "thermoplastic feel" is desired.

BC 8400 Urethane Casting System

An unfilled, low viscosity, quick setting two component urethane system. With easy to use 1 to 1 mix ratio (Part A/Part B), BC 8400 offers the user a 3 minute working time with parts demoldable in as little as 30 minutes. When properly cured, BC 8400 will exhibit high impact strength and yield thermoplastic-like parts. Some outstanding features include moderate heat resistance, no objectionable odor, excellent finishing properties, longer mold life.

BC 8405 Urethane Casting System

An unfilled, low viscosity, quick setting two component urethane system. With an easy to use 1 to 1 mix ratio, it affords the user a working time of 15 minutes with parts demoldable in as little as 2 hours. When properly cured, BC 8405 will exhibit the same outstanding features as BC8400.

DP-11-39

DP-11-39 is a low viscosity, quick setting, easy to use adhesive and/or casting material. This product was designed to bond together the obomodulan 302 foam board to create desired dimensions in length, width, and height. DP-11-39 has a working life of up to 8 minutes for casting applications. If used as an adhesive, it is workable for up to 10 minutes.

BC 8640E

An easy to use polyurethane elastomer that is suitable for many applications. Special product characteristics include: room temperature mixing and curing, excellent hydrolytic stability, produces durable products that are easily produced, does not contain MOCA, MDA, or MDI. Uses include: molds for plaster and concrete, molds for epoxy, polyurethane and polyester castings or laminates, fabricating parts such as protective shipping pads, or skins for creatures. Hardness Shore A 35-40.

BC8660E

A multi-purpose elastomer that can perform many functions. Special product characteristics are: excellent use for molds for casting of concrete and plaster, resists moisture absorption, does not contain MOCA, MDA, TDI or MDI, very easy to use, cures at room temperature. Hardness Shore A 60+2.

BC8690E

A two-component urethane elastomer compound specifically designed for casting applications. Safe, easy-to-handle, room temperature mixing and curing system that contains no TDI, MDA or MOCA. BC A is insensitive to moisture during storage and normal handling; hence, this system will make dependably good void-free parts without the foaming problems that some conventional urethane systems exhibit. The low shrinkage, low viscosity, superior toughness, and excellent detail reproduction of BC Amakes this system ideal for general purpose castings and quality tooling operations.

Hardness Shore A 85-90.

BC 8740E

A two-component urethane casting compound that is specifically formulated for high abrasion and impact resistance. Recommended for use for the production casting of highly ear-resistant parts and linings. Safe, easy-to-handle, room temperature mixing and curing system that does not contain TDI, MDI, MDA, or MOCA. Relatively insensitive to typical environmental moisture. Will make good void-free parts without the problems that same conventional urethane systems exhibit. Particularly suitable for mining and mineral process industries. Hardness Shore D 40+2.

BC 8760

Two-component urethane casting compound specifically formulated for high abrasion and impact resistance. Recommended uses include production casting of highly wear-resistant parts and linings. Safe, easy-to-handle, room temperature mixing and curing system that does not contain TDI, MDI, MDA or MOCA. Relatively insensitive to typical environmental moisture. Will make good void-free parts without the problems that some conventional urethane systems exhibit. The low viscosity and simple mix ratio assure uniform and easy mixing. Hardness Shore D: 60+2

BC 8781

Produces a high impact rigid 82 Shore D material that is commonly used to make clear or tinted castings of all kinds. Very high impact rigid material with exceptional clarity. 30 min. working time afford the user the option of large pours. Cures in most silicone rubber molds. Uses include: models of all kinds, artwork components, architectural models, gears, wheels, fans, etc. Hardness Shore D: 82.

BC 8782

Produces a high impact rigid 82 Shore D material that is commonly used to make clear or tinted castings of all kinds. Working time: 12-14 min., demold time: 6-8 hours. Uses: see BC8781. When used at room temperature castings 1/8" thick or larger can be readily cast. Castings that are less than 1/8" thick generally require a mild post-cure. Hardness Shore D: 82.
